Hello! I'm currently living in the UK where I'm a student at University of Northampton. I'm pursuing my Master's degree in Education, with a focus on early years.

Before coming to the UK to study, I was a preschool teacher back in Singapore. As an early childhood professional, I believe that children gain lots of benefits from the family involvement in early childhood settings. While browsing the early years curriculum across a number of countries, Te Whāriki, New Zealand's early childhood curriculum really stood out to me because it places considerably more emphasis on developing family involvement in curriculum design and implementation. This brought me to 'unpack' the curriculum.

Through this website I hope to draw in also the ‘knowledge baskets’ of international readers, and that they will join the debates, discussions and conversations.
